Nicklas, or Nick Beman as I’m called, was born the 14th of february 1982 and have always been into music in some way. It began with early performances at the age of 6 in pre-school where I practised my voice in choir. The interest in singing came naturally, as did my voice evolve.
Of course.. as many kids, other interests came along. The singing basically got drowned in all the sports I tried out. There was not enough time, and as it went by.. it made me forget about my interest in music. Though in my early teen years the music came back, but in a different form. A friend of mine introduced me to the world of tracking and that’s when it all really began.
At first I followed every EDM wave that came.. Hardcore and Gabber, Happy hardcore, Goa-trance, Psy-trance and Melodic trance. Now you might think, I bet he produces progressive music these days. Actually, no. I ended up with ambiental music, with influences from many other non-electronic genres. As this grew more and more on me I felt that something was missing.. That’s when I picked up the singing again.
If I’d describe my music today I’d say it’s atmospheric electroacoustic music with classical compositions and a voice that slowly but safely sooths your mind, but with surprises to intensify the message in my music. Something you’ve probebly not heard before, if you haven’t listened to me.
My ideas and inspiration is an understanding I’ve learned through life experiences. I still concider myself a student of life and music, and am not afraid to experiment with my works.
